Some States have legislation regarding notification, labeling, disposal and the sale of mercury added devices. A ban on the sale or distribution of mercury added devices is currently in effect in several States, with some others to become effective in the future. Most States recognize the need to support replacement parts for existing industrial application and special applications where no feasible replacement is available. However, these exceptions and exemptions must meet the States specific criteria and regulations.
To determine the effect of these regulations on your location, contact your States’ environmental/hazardous material organization. For further information contact your Computer Components sales person.

Computer Components will continue to offer our mercury wetted relays to our industrial, commercial and military customer, where allowed by law. We do not recommend mercury wetted relays be designed into new application.
